2 held hostage in home invasion
BELVEDERE--Three men armed with guns forced themselves into a house in Belvedere while the owner was home with a friend at approximately 1:00pm Monday.
On their arrival, police were told that the intruders had held both persons hostage and demanded they hand over all the money in their possession. The suspects fired shots during this invasion, but fortunately no one was injured. All three suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone having information in connection with this case should immediately contact the police by calling 542-2222 ext. 213/214, the anonymous tip line 9300 or the Emergency Dispatch 911.
