The Atlantic high-pressure system is generating brisk winds across the region. Moisture embedded in the wind flow will account for occasional cloudiness and possible isolated showers across St. Maarten.  

Marine conditions will remain elevated throughout the next several days, due to long period northerly swells. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
