Brisk winds associated with the dominant Atlantic high-pressure system as well as an approaching tropical wave are expected to transport showers across the local area during this forecast period.   

Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise extreme caution as marine conditions are expected to peak up to 10 feet before gradually subsiding by mid-week.
