The Atlantic high pressure system will continue to dominate the weather pattern across the region. Therefore, fair skies along with gentle to moderate winds will prevail during this forecast period.  

Seas are expected to peak at 7 feet during the next 36 hours. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.  

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to Moderate          WAVES/SWELLS: 4 to 7 feet

The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the situation with La Soufriere volcano and update the public accordingly.
