An eyewitness on the scene said it appeared as though she somehow lost control of her bike coming over a speed bump in the area and slid almost completely under the parked SUV. The biker had her helmet on at the time of the accident. According to the eyewitness the helmet came partially off the victim's head when she slid under the vehicle causing the strap of the helmet to tighten around her neck. One person on the scene sprang into action and attempted to cut the strap, but it was too tight. The police, who had arrived by this time along with onlookers lifted the SUV off the woman and pulled her out, but it is believed that she had already succumbed to her injuries by this time.

The police spokesperson said the woman was already deceased when they arrived on the scene.
