ST. EUSTATIUS--The draft nature ordinance will be discussed at a town hall meeting at Mike van Putten Youth Centre/Lions’ Den scheduled for 7:00pm today, Thursday, April 22.
A presentation will be made during the meeting by Director of the Environment, Nature and Infrastructure Anthony Reid, who will speak about the draft ordinance. Different topics related to protecting nature, conservation, surveillance, and other items will also be discussed.
Draft ordinances can only become law after the Island Council votes on them and the public is given an opportunity to hear about them and give feedback.
