Crash demo | THE DAILY HERALD

The St. Eustatius branch of the Caribbean Netherlands Fire Department BKCN held an open house at Fort Oranjestraat on Monday, May 2. During a live simulation of a car accident, firefighters demonstrated how to utilise rescue tools, such as the “Jaws of Life” and other items.

Caribbean Netherlands Police Department KPCN officers were also present at the open house, as well as Operational Preparation and Risk Management head Esther J. Piet, Acting Local Commander Julius Melaan and Thammy Albertsz of BKCN in Bonaire.
