Overturned armoured Brinks truck going down link 1 phase 2 near the Learning Unlimited school.
CAY HILL--A Brinks armoured transport truck overturned on link 1 phase 2 shortly after 11:00am Friday, causing traffic disruptions in the area behind Sint Maarten Medical Center (SMMC).
The Police Dispatch Center received several calls reporting the accident shortly before the roundabout on Alexis Arnell Road. Police patrol officers and members of the Traffic Department were dispatched to the scene following the reports.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that no one had been injured in the accident. The contents being transported by the vehicle were also reported to be safe. Police were working to clear the roadway and address the situation. The overturned vehicle caused a traffic backup in the area, with motorists advised to expect delays.
