Minister Egbert Doran recently initiated a road maintenance programme
PHILIPSBURG--There will be single-lane closures on the road to the airport and on A.J.C. Brouwer Road in the coming days due to roadwork. This was announced by the Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Planning, and Infrastructure VROMI.
In connection with VROMI’s road-paving project, one lane on Welfare Road through Airport Road will be closed from 8:30pm through 5:00am from Monday August 9, until Wednesday August 11.
On Thursday August 12, motorists will be required to drive with caution as road works will be taking place in the Jordan Village area from 8:30pm through 5:00am.
On Sunday August 15, there will be a single-lane closure on A.J.C. Brouwer Road from 8:30am through 5:00am.
The ministry requests all motorist to pay keen attention to traffic signs and detours in relation to the road works and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
