St. Maarten News – The Beyond Kultura Events Foundation gets the support from the Be The Change Foundation to participate in the SXM DOET project that will take place on March 11 and 12, BKE-President Loekie Morales stated in a press release.

“The sky is the limit, when it comes to innovative thinking is our motto, and the kite is the logo of the BKE,” Morales stated. The kite is also the symbol of the freedom of thought.

The Foundation is giving a young and old a free workshop kite making, so they can make the nicest kite. People interested to learn how to make a kite can sign up until March 8 via beyondwriting@hotmail.com  orbeyondkultura@gmail.com.

The workshop is free of charge and takes place on March 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church on Arch Road in Sucker Garden.
The kite flying competition is the next day next to the Baseball Field and Festival Village at 1 p.m.   .
