St. Maarten – Former commissioners of the Island Territory Elton Jones and Lenny P:riest – currently leader of the One Sint Maarten People Party – will host the radio program Another View on PJD2 102.7 FM every Wednesday from 9.30 to 10 p.m. SOS Radio will rebroadcast the program every Monday from 8 to 8.30 p.m.
Jones and Priest will “talk about the issues that are affecting the lives of ordinary people like the minimum wage, the abuse of short term contracts, the old age pension, unemployment among young people and the high rise in crime.” The hosts will be “very critical but solution-oriented,” they state in a press release.
The program will dedicate the last broadcast on the last Wednesday of the month to issues that affect young people.
