St. Maarten News – Minister of Finance Richard Gibson wants to end the rumors and innuendos about the Central Bank of Curacao and St. Maarten once and for all and for this purpose he has asked the national security service VDSM to screen the bank’s President Dr. Emsley tromp and the other members of the board of directors. Gibson has also asked his counterpart José Jardim in Curacao to initiate a similar investigation by the national security service in Curacao.

Since the establishment of the Central Bank per 10-10-10 its president and others directors have never been screened as the law prescribes.
