Pond Island:--- TelEm Group technicians will be carrying out maintenance work on a primary cable cabinet in the Simpson Bay area Saturday and interruptions in telecommunication services in the following area and streets are expected from 8:00 am in the morning until approximately 4:00 pm in the late afternoon.
From the Simpson Bay bridge (both sides of the road to Backstage Salon on the Airport Road) and also including Fr. Barendson Road; Sr. Modesta road and Sr. Patentia Houtman road.
The work involves the cleaning and re-strapping of a telephone cabinet and persons living and working in the above-mentioned areas were advised to inform their households and businesses of the upcoming schedule of work since interruptions in regular service are expected.
TelEm Group management has meantime apologized to customers in the affected areas for any inconvenience caused.
