The 2017 St. Kitts National Games marks the second time St. Maarten has competed with countries such as Cayman Islands, Connecticut, St. Kitts and Nevis. The sister islands of St. Kitts and Nevis each have their own Special Olympic organization and athletes.

Special Olympics St. Maarten would like to thank Winair, the Government of St. Maarten and the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau for helping to make the games possible. We would also like to thank St. Kitts and Nevis for their hospitality. A special thanks to the coaches and the hard-working athletes who made us all very proud.
