GREAT BAY(DCOMM): ---- Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that the Sucker Garden road has been opened to one lane traffic for motorized traffic going and coming to Philipsburg as of February 15.
The aforementioned will be for the duration of the road works. Traffic will be directed accordingly at the intersections of Sucker Garden/Arch road and at Sundial Round-a-bout.
Road repairs on Sucker Garden Road started on February 13.
The road repairs are carried out between 7.00am and 4.00pm and will continue until February 24.
The contractor will place speed bumps on the road to slow down vehicles as a safety measure due to workmen and heavy equipment that are currently working on the road.
The contractor carrying out the works is Windward Roads.
Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause.
