“The support of CC1 not only makes the presentation of the shows possible but also makes several operational aspects of Carnival possible. This is not an easy year financially for the SCDF and its corporate partners,” SCDF President Alson Lourens said.

“We are very happy that we could hammer out a corporate partnership that both parties could be happy with as we both do our best to ensure that Carnival is successful in 2018,” Lourens said, adding that the artists' lineup for the One Love Reggae Concert and Noche Latina will be announced soon.
He said Coca-Cola will also produce the vintage St. Maarten Carnival cans to further promote the festival.

“There is a lot more that will be forthcoming from our partnership with CC1. For now, we are very happy to announce that CC1 and Carnival are partners once again and the public can expect great things,” Lourens concluded.
