Road accident leaves one dead in Cul de Sac, shooting left one dead in French Quarter. | SMN News

MARIGOT:--- A scooter rider died on Cul de Sac road in the vicinity of Tennis Academy on Monday evening. SMN News understands that the victim was hit down by a heavy truck. Details on the accident are not readily available.

Paramedics did everything they could to save the victim's life but he succumbed to the injuries. In the meantime, a young man was shot dead around 1:30 am on Monday morning in the vicinity of French Quarter Pharmacy. The victim it is understood was riding his scooter at the time of the shooting.

The gendarmes are busy investigating both cases.
