I, Mr. Fernando Clark, made statements that were published in various news media on October 18th, 2018, whereby it was alleged that Mr. Cornelius de Weever abused his power by requesting me to participate in sexual activities, which I refused to do, after which the process was started to prematurely terminate my labor agreement with government. By verdict of December 7th, 2018 the Court of First Instance in Sint Maarten ordered me to rectify these statements through this message because my statements lack factual basis and are unnecessary defaming. Mr. Cornelius de Weever never asked me to participate in sexual activities. This was not the reason for my dismissal. I am ordered to post this rectification in The Daily Herald and the News Network.
