GREAT BAY(DCOMM):--- The Department of Economy, Transportation, and Telecommunication (EVT) is swiftly finalizing preparations for its free two-day standards workshop scheduled for Monday, September 5th and Tuesday, September 6th.
The two-day workshops which will kick off at 8:30am at the University of St. Martin will introduce participants to the benefits of meeting industry and national standards in manufacturing.
In a statement, the Department indicated that “registration had been better than expected and that everything is in place for successful workshops”.
Aside from learning the benefits to meeting production standards, attendees will also be the first to be introduced to new regional crowd funding platforms.
These crowd funding platforms according to the Department will offer new means of financing for existing and future entrepreneurs. Always seeking new ways to support small businesses, EVT is certain all attendees will leave with new information and new ways to develop their businesses.
