PHILIPSBURG:---Pastor Nolan Nanton and the members of the New Testament Baptist Church announce the passing of the founder of the New Testament Baptist Church, Robert Allen Mayer on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 in Georgia, the U.S.A. at the age of 91 years.
Brother Mayer, as he was affectionately called, was born on July 23rd, 1928 in Melrose Park, Illinois, U.S.A. He served in the military service during World war II up to 1949. In 1950 he married Myrtle May Harris.
Brother Mayer founded the Calvary Baptist Church in St. Thomas USVI in 1952, and in September of 1956 he
