PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Finance Richard Gibson Sr. is currently nursing a fractured knee cap after falling off his bicycle on Saturday afternoon. In a invited comment the Minister said on Saturday afternoon he was exercising through riding a brand new bicycle he bought the day before. He said at some point he lost control of the bike when he stood on the pedal and fell off the bike injuring his knee cap. According to doctor’s advice the Minister said he should be well in six weeks but he intends to start working on Tuesday (tomorrow) as there is a lot of work that has to be done that also requires his presence in office.
The Minister assured that he is coping well and is already on the road to recovery.
