PHILIPSBURG:— The Department of Community Development, Family & Humanitarian Affairs in collaboration with the SXM Hillside and Eco Resort (South reward) is hosting a free nature hike & guided tour of the botanical garden on Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 6.30 am to 10.30 am.

Participants will enjoy a complimentary breakfast after the hike.

The nature hike offers a great opportunity to strengthen family bonds, engage in physical activity and develop a deeper appreciation of the islands’ natural assets and cultural heritage.

The family-friendly hike starts can accommodate a maximum of 30 persons. Therefore, interested persons are encouraged to register their families before Thursday May 13 2021.

Participants are asked to wear light clothing and proper shoes for the rugged terrain.
