Harbour View:--- On February 27, 2018, the Governor of Sint Maarten, His Excellency drs. E.B. Holiday started consultations regarding the results of the February 26, 2018, elections.
The Governor, is meeting with the leaders of the political parties that obtained seats in Parliament (the United Democrats, the National Alliance, the United St. Maarten Peoples Party and the Sint Maarten Christian Party), as well as with the chairperson of Parliament, the vice chairperson of the Council of Advice and the chairperson of the Central Voting Bureau. During these meetings, the outcome of the elections and consequences thereof for the formation process for a new cabinet are discussed. The consultations will continue tomorrow.
