PHILIPSBURG:--- The Secretary-General of VROMI Louis Brown has been relieved of his duties after being suspended since September 2020 by Minister of VROMI Egbert Jurendy Doran.
SMN News has been reliably informed that Brown received the LB signed by the Governor of St. Maarten relieving him of his duties.
Brown was suspended in September 2020 when the Court of First Instance ruled in favor of Alegria Real Estate. The Minister contested the judgment and has since won the case against Alegria Real Estate. However, the Minister of VROMI lost confidence in Brown which led to his dismissal.
