PHILIPSBURG:--- Screening addition this Saturday at LB Sports Auditorium, Ade Chike Torbert and Shola Roberts, both dancers and teaching artists will be on the island this weekend to teach Art Save Lives’ final screening for the organization’s Summer Intensive. The screening event will be held on Saturday May 21st at the LB Scott Sports Auditorium, in Philipsburg doors open at 1pm. Students are encouraged to arrive by 1:45 PM in order to pre-register.

Ade Chike whose recent credits include, Glee, Grease: Live, Dancing with the Stars and So you think you can dance, will be the featured teaching Artist. This is Ade’s first visit to St. Maarten, he will return in July for the Summer Intensive as one of the teaching artists. Shola Roberts, is a dancer and model based in New York. She is a Lincoln Center Scholar and is passionate about the arts. She will teach the second set. They are both looking forward to the event and sharing their passion with the youth of St. Maarten. Art Saves Lives is currently raising funds for their fourth Summer Intensive which will be held from July 4th to 8th. For more information, or if you wish to
