PHILIPSBURG:--- The Special Unit Robbery is presently investigating an armed robbery which took place at Cupe Coy Beach in the vicinity of Ocean Club on Sunday July 29th at approximately 02.00 p.m. According to the report the victims identified with initials Z.J.A.S and V.T.A.M were at the beach when they were suddenly approached by three unknown men, one of which was carrying a gun. The armed suspect threatened the victims with the gun while the other suspects robbed the victims of their backpacks containing their personal belongings. After the robbery the suspects fled the scene possibly on scooters.
