~PWR Agency hosts a new signature event on February 25 to equip ‘islandpreneurs’ to dominate online.~
PHILIPSBURG:— Produce Wealth Revolution (PWR) Agency aims to inspire and equip entrepreneurs with the skills to build thriving businesses through creating dynamic events and programs. Last year, due to the pandemic, the PWR Agency hosted more than 25 online programs reaching over 7500 persons around the world, with an average of 30% viewing from St. Maarten. Two of the most notable successes of 2020 were Islandpreneur Live, which had 650 registrants from 35 countries, and iFOUNDED Joint Pitch Competition, which gave two grand prize winners, from Curaçao and St. Maarten, USD 3000 each. In addition, these winners, once they meet all the requirements, will be listed on the Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange (DCSX).
Based on the success of these programs, the PWR Agency has deemed 2021, the Year of the Islandpreneur. As a result, its flagship program, Islandpreneur will feature three major events for 2021. These are Borderless (February 25), Islandpreneur Live 2021 & Awards in June, and Islandpreneur Pitch Pool (formerly, iFOUNDED pitch competition) towards the end of the year. This program is designed to increase capacity among island-based entrepreneurs and innovators, while connecting them to the right local and global resources to accelerate business growth.
On February 25, the first Islandpreneur event, Borderless will take place. This most recent addition is focused on equipping ‘islandpreneurs’ to thrive online. This one (1) day experience will feature a virtual business showcase and several masterclasses from global online business experts. Borderless will feature several masterclasses headed by business leaders who dominate online. The purpose is to equip ‘islandpreneurs’ with skills to build a successful business online. Topics include the power of podcasting, getting international media coverage, building a global brand, establishing a borderless paradigm, and how to innovate across borders. Attendees will not only get to learn from these experts but interact live during Q&A.
These global experts will be joining from USA, UK, and the Caribbean and include innovators such as Cassandra Wilfore (USA), Director of Global Innovation Strategy of the world’s largest private brand development company, Daymon Worldwide. She is an innovation leader and consultant whose efforts have helped to launch more than $250M worth of innovative products around the world. Heneka Watkis-Porter is an entrepreneur, coach, 5x author, and international speaker. Based in Jamaica, she is also the host of one of the top entrepreneur and business podcasts, The Entrepreneurial You Podcast, and has interviewed leaders as Richard Branson, Lisa Nichols, and Seth Godin.
Haddy Folivi is a publicity consultant based in London who has secured features in Forbes magazine, CNBC, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan to name a few in more than 45 countries around the world. To date, she has been responsible for pacing over US $2 million in media coverage for over 60 clients.
Joining these dynamic speaker circuits are entrepreneur and brand consultant, Jennifer Carty, founder of Altus Branding Agency, and Mrs. Marisha Olivacce- Carty, MSc an educator and training consultant. Ms. Carty will share practical insights on how to build a global brand. Mrs. Olivacce who has been in education for more than 15 years, will share the importance of establishing a borderless paradigm. In addition, organizers are honored to also have Minister of Finance, Honorable Mr. Ardwell Irion officially open this event with an address.
