Willemstad/Philipsburg:-- On September 5, 2019, at the request of the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS), the Court of First Instance of Curaçao pronounced an emergency measure with respect to Banco del Orinoco N.V. The CBCS held a press conference on that same day, at 3:30 PM.
During this press conference, the CBCS explained that the Banco del Orinoco N.V.’s regular services were suspended as of September 5.
