PHILIPSBURG:— The Court of Appeal has ruled in the criminal case in an appeal against suspect Sh.A.T. Parris (public prosecutor’s office numbers 100.00039/20 and 100.00392/20 and 100.00393/20) that the court hearing will take place in Curaçao. The hearing will take place on Wednesday, September 7st, Thursday, September 8th and Friday, September 9th in the Court of Appeal in Curaçao. The hearing will start on all days at 9:30 am.

In order to guarantee public access of this hearing, a video conference connection will be made available so that interested parties in Sint Maarten can attend this hearing in Curaçao via a videoconference connection. Interested parties are requested to register by e-mail at the Front Office of the Court of First Instance in Sint Maarten via the e-mail ondersteuning.sxm@caribjustitia.org no later than Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at 4:00 pm. They will then receive a link to log in to follow the Court hearing.
