SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - These little messages, painted and decorated around the table at FREEGAN, capture the spirit of our community mornings.
With funding from Oranje Fonds, we bring people together to get creative, cook, share a meal and enjoy each other’s company. These pictures offer a lovely glimpse: tables covered in colourful cards, paintbrushes and coffee cups, followed by plates of freshly prepared food and time to sit and talk.
There is something special about making room for these everyday moments. Getting to know someone while choosing colours. Listening over lunch. Having somewhere to go where you are welcome just as you are.
Our community mornings offer space to join an activity, have a conversation or simply enjoy being among others. Lunch, coffee, tea and snacks are free, so everyone can take a seat at the table.
Thank you to Oranje Fonds for making these mornings possible, and to everyone who brings their time, creativity and kindness to FREEGAN.
Our next community morning is Thursday, October 29, from 10:00 to 13:00. Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.
