SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - In a continued effort to foster a culture of integrity across all levels of society, the Integrity Chamber has developed a colouring book focused on integrity for Sint Maarten’s youngest citizens.
The colouring book, designed to engage young students, introduces key values such as honesty, fairness, and kindness through age-appropriate illustrations and activities. It will be distributed to various schools across the country as part of the organisation’s broader initiative to promote integrity awareness in the community.
This latest effort builds on the organisation’s earlier work in the primary schools, where integrity sessions were conducted with sixth grade students. During those sessions, students viewed educational videos that explored the meaning and importance of integrity—sparking meaningful conversations and reflection among young learners.
“We believe that integrity is a foundational value that should be nurtured from an early age,” said Charna Pompier, Director of the Integrity Chamber. “By introducing these concepts in a fun and accessible way, we aim to empower children to grow into responsible and ethical citizens.”
The Integrity Chamber presented the colouring book to the Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports on October 9, 2025, given the Ministry's key role in shaping the values of future generations. The organisation hopes that this resource can be used as a tool to promote integrity-based education. The Integrity Chamber remains committed to expanding its outreach and developing innovative tools to engage diverse segments of the population in conversations about ethical behaviour and integrity.
