SINT MAARTEN (CAY HILL) – St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is calling on local musicians to assist them in their efforts to spread much needed joy to their patients and staff this Christmas season by donating an hour or more of their time and musical talents. Every weekday from December 7th 2020 until December 24th, musicians will have the opportunity to serenade SMMC’s patients and staff on the main patio for an hour or more of their choosing.

“After an incredibly difficult year, we would would like to spread some Christmas cheer in a safe and responsible way. As such, we’re calling on all local talent to donate their time to serenade our patients and staff during the Christmas season” said SMMC’s Medical Director Dr. Felix Holiday, who will be treating patients and staff to his talents as a musician.

SMMC encourages all local talent (Pianists, Guitarists, Steel pan players, Vocalist, Saxophonist, etc) to help them spread joy and give back to the community by signing up to receive a slot of one hour or more at a time and date that suits their schedule best. The musicians will be performing at the open-air patio, well distanced from any patients and staff in observance of the current COVID-19 safety measures in effect.
