SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - The Sint Maarten Entrepreneurship Development Center Foundation (SEDC) has opened registration for its Business English Communication Course – Level 1, offered through the Advanced Education Programme (AEP) of the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT) and funded by TWO under the E6 Country Package.
The course is designed for English- and Spanish-speaking small and medium-sized business owners in Sint Maarten who want to strengthen their professional communication skills. Participants will receive practical guidance to improve their spoken and written English, prepare clear and professional emails, communicate confidently during meetings, present their businesses and services effectively, and build stronger relationships with clients.
The programme consists of 12 lessons, beginning on September 16 and continuing through October 30, 2026. Classes will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on September 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30, and October 1, 5, 6, 20, 23, 27 and 30. Guided writing assignments will also form part of the programme.
Through this course, SEDC aims to help entrepreneurs communicate more confidently and professionally in the workplace. Effective business communication is essential for delivering quality customer service, promoting products and services, establishing partnerships and accessing new business opportunities.
