SINT MAARTEN (COLE BAY) – The Caribbean Region is being mobilized to help our neighbors in St. Vincent & The Grenadines Prime Distributors said in a media statement on Thursday. “There has been an outpour of individuals, organizations and companies coordinating relief items for the habitants of St. Vincent & The Grenadines.

“The world as it is, has been upside down since the pandemic, and now to add to that we also have an erupting volcano in the Caribbean. St. Maarten is no stranger to natural disasters as we live within the Hurricane belt and know exactly what it is to be displaced from family, loved ones and friends.

“We were happy to join DJ Blaze, who started with the community initiative and started a relief drive of necessary items like water and food for St. Vincent & The Grenadines. We also contacted some of our key suppliers: Nestle, Kraft, EJ Gallo, P&G, Best Dressed Chicken, McBride & Mondelez, that were instantly on board to support this cause, without their assistance this would have been impossible. Collectively we were able to contribute a variety of items that we know for sure are essential during a time of crisis like this.

“We would like to encourage the entire community to do what we can to support the various relief organizations and drives that are being done for the people of St. Vincent & The Grenadines. Together we can continue to assist them however and wherever we can. Never think that your contribution is too small, every little bit will help make a difference,” the Prime Distributors press release concludes.
