SINT MAARTEN (POND ISLAND) - The Honorable Minister of Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs​​​ (VSA) Richard Panneflek would like to express his appreciation to all teachers today Monday 5 October, 2020 on World Teachers’ Day.

Amid a global pandemic, our teachers have become more vital, as they continue to adjust, shape and teach through distance learning.

Minister Panneflek encourages all teachers to keep the faith and continue to educate their students on the safety and protocols of the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He thanks all teachers for playing such an important role in shaping children’s education and expressed that their work and efforts does not go unnoticed.
