The seniors were very receptive of the grocery bags and expressed their gratitude to the members of the Club. “The Sint Maarten Lions Club is helping us to keep the faith, because they are out here sharing whatever they have with people in the community, this gives us hope and faith we need to make it through our week. I really appreciate the bags and I can see that the Lions are doing a wonderful job. ” - stated a resident who is affectionately called “Chef” who worked for many years as the Head Chef at the Holland House Beach Hotel in Philipsburg.
