SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) – On December 10th, President Grace Linger and District Governor Elect Louis Wever from the Rotary Club of Sint Maarten – Mid Isle donated a check valued at $250.00 to the Excellence Learning Academy.

The Club donated the funds for the schools Journey 2 Sensory Fun Campaign. Information from the school stated that sensory toys enhance the brains development while helping the person to relax, remain calm and overcome fears in a warm and natural environment at school.

The Sensory products help persons with sensory processing disorder and autism. These products engage their touch, smell, sight, taste, hearing, movement, and balance.
