Have the ship registry on hand and all the necessary ships documents on board.
Have at least one other able crew member with you all times.
Have enough suitable life jackets onboard for each and every passenger (including life jackets specifically for children if they are onboard)
Have valid lifesaving devices, fire extinguishers, and all deemed necessary by the harbormaster for the conservation of the boat and the safety of the crew and passengers.
Transporting more persons than is indicated on the certificate of seaworthiness is NOT ALLOWED.
Operating and/or sail a vessel while being under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substances is NOT ALLOWED.
Have the vessel provided with the prescribed navigational lights.
