The initiative reflects AUC's ongoing commitment to serving the Sint Maarten community through health promotion and education.

As part of the screening activities, Dr. Naira Chobanyan, Oncologist, expert in breast cancer, performed clinical breast examinations for 32 participants, offering individualized assessment and guidance regarding breast health.

To date, 780 local women have been screened through AUC breast health initiatives, representing a significant contribution to breast cancer awareness and early detection efforts on the island.

The visit by the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of community partnerships in promoting public health and recognized the dedication of AUC students, faculty, and healthcare volunteers in advancing breast health education and screening services.
