GREAT BAY--Silversea Cruises is placing St. Maarten at the heart of its 2025/2026 Caribbean program, with two Silver Shadow itineraries that either end in or sail roundtrip from Philipsburg. The seven day Bridgetown to Philipsburg voyage in February 2026, followed by a seven day Philipsburg to Philipsburg sailing, will connect guests to some of the most distinctive islands in the region while showcasing St. Maarten as a key luxury cruise hub.

The Silver Shadow itinerary from Bridgetown to St. Maarten, scheduled for February 12 to 19, 2026, includes calls to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Barts, Dominica, and Trois Ilets in Martinique. Guests can join a culinary tour of Martinique with rum tastings and French Creole cooking classes, as well as activities such as kayaking through mangroves and snorkeling at Anse Dufour.

From February 19 to 26, 2026, Silver Shadow will sail a seven day roundtrip from Philipsburg, St. Maarten, visiting Antigua and Barbuda, St. Thomas, Montserrat, St. Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Guadeloupe. The voyage features options such as kayaking, catamaran sailing, snorkeling in Les Saintes Bay, hiking Mount Morel, and enjoying beaches across the islands.

These St. Maarten focused itineraries are part of a broader 2025/2026 Caribbean and Central America season that pairs intimate ports with cultural depth. Silversea is offering cruises that move beyond the usual large ship circuit, reaching smaller harbors and lesser known islands that reward guests with local flavor and a closer look at Caribbean life.

A central feature of the season is Silversea’s S.A.L.T. culinary program, which highlights regional cuisine through onboard cooking classes and food focused shore excursions. Guests can explore island markets, taste traditional dishes, and then bring those flavors back on board through guided culinary sessions.

The season offers something for different types of travelers, from those looking for quiet relaxation to those interested in culture and exploration. Four ships, Silver Ray, Silver Spirit, Silver Shadow, and Silver Dawn, will operate in the Caribbean and Central America, each offering spacious suites, attentive service, and itineraries that balance sea days with port intensive routes.

Silversea’s smaller ships allow access to more intimate destinations that are off limits to larger vessels. From Virgin Islands beaches to the rainforests and rivers of islands such as Dominica, guests can step ashore and experience local culture, history, and nature in a more direct way.
