As part of the breast cancer prevention and screening promotion campaign, an Open Day is organized this Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 15 p.m. at the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital center in Concordia.
Several partners have come together to offer this action to the population: Dr Codjo, gynecologist, the team of midwives with Joly Jocia, Johanna Moutoucarpin, Océane Bleralde, Naomie Saint-Charles and the coordinator Marie-Line Darasse Gournet, the The Active Maternity association and the League association.
A great opportunity for the public to discover the world of all these passionate people and to be made aware of the importance of breast cancer screening. The team of midwives will speak for the awareness component and a self-examination workshop led by Dr. Codjo will be offered to visitors in order to learn themselves how to spot a suspicious anomaly and detect possible cancer. The Open Day will also feature several testimonials from women who have recently given birth and breast cancer survivors, in an educational and caring atmosphere. The appointment is given at the maternity department of the hospital, this afternoon at 15 p.m._VX
