KRALENDIJK--Following the resignation of Commissioner Joselito Statia, the Executive Council has adopted a new portfolio distribution. This ensures the continuity of the administration and the execution of administrative tasks.

During a meeting on July 1st, the division of responsibilities between the two deputies was determined.

* Commissioner Jennifer Mohamedjoenoes manages: Directorate of Operations and Support; Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement. She is responsible for policy domains such as: Public Finance and Taxation; Intergovernmental and Regional Affairs; Economy and Sustainable Tourism; Repatriation; Real Estate and Housing.

* Commissioner Timoteo Silberie manages: Directorate of Society and Care; Directorate of Spatial Planning and Development. He is responsible for policy domains such as: Education and Educational Housing; Sport and Recreation; Public Health; Spatial Planning, Planning and Aesthetics; Infrastructure and Water Management; Nature, Environment & Ecological Restoration.

Joselito Statia

Island Governor John Soliano is Chairman of the Island Council, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the General Meeting of Shareholders. He is responsible for policy domains such as: Good Governance; Public Order and Safety; Crisis Management & Disaster Relief.

In the absence of a commissioner, he or she is temporarily replaced by the other one, who assumes the necessary responsibilities to ensure the continuity of administration.
