It's a miracle that all the passengers survived this spectacular accident!
On Saturday, January 20, around 10:40 a.m., Sint Maarten police received several calls reporting a serious accident involving three vehicles on Bishop Hill Road, near the bird farm. The accident occurred following a collision between three cars from Mitsubishi, Nissan and BMW.
Several police patrols immediately went to the scene. According to initial information gathered by traffic department personnel, the Mitsubishi and the Nissan were traveling on Bishop Hill Road from the Belvedere area towards Sucker Garden. The collision occurred when the driver of the Nissan attempted to overtake the Mitsubishi as it turned onto one of the side streets. The Nissan then flipped onto its side, slid across the road and collided with a parked BMW.
Despite the violence of the collision, none of the drivers involved were seriously injured. A true miracle! _AF
