Fort d’une 1ère édition réussie, le championnat de plongée libre organisé par l’école d’apnée Tainos et l’association pour le développement de l’apnée à Saint-Martin revient ce dimanche 28 juillet, toujours à la Samanna du groupe Belmond à Terres Basses.

\nDès 9h, les participants, débutants ou confirmés, s’affronteront lors de la compétition qui permet de faire découvrir cette discipline sportive au plus grand nombre. Même configuration que l’année dernière, trois techniques d’apnée verticale sont proposées pour cet open : l’immersion libre, sans palmes, en s’aidant de la ligne de vie pour plonger, le poids constant où la plongée libre s’effectue avec des palmes et enfin, la plus difficile, le poids constant sans palme et sans s’aider de la corde. Les apnéistes seront amenés par groupe sur un bateau de 12 mètres à trois kilomètres au large, munie d’une plate-forme de préparation. Sur inscription de 30€, les participants âgés de minimum 18 ans devront se munir d’une assurance individuelle pour la pratique de l’apnée en compétition et d’un certificat médical. De jolis prix et récompenses attendent les compétiteurs, grâce au soutien des nombreux partenaires et sponsors.
