AIRPORT--The Princess Juliana International Airport Operating Company N.V. (PJIAE) has announced the appointment of Ms. Cassie Schoutens as its new Corporate Communications Officer, a move that strengthens the airport’s connection with the St. Maarten community and its stakeholders.

Ms. Schoutens has been a valued member of the Commercial Department, serving as Marketing and Communications Specialist, and will now take on a broader role overseeing all internal and external communications on behalf of PJIAE. She has played a key part in many of the airport’s outreach initiatives, including the recent Kids Movie Night and other programs that bring the airport closer to the people it serves.

“The Management Board views this appointment as an encouraging step forward in strengthening our communication strategy and deepening engagement with our stakeholders,” said PJIAE Management. “Cassie has consistently demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and a clear understanding of PJIAE’s vision. We are confident that our communications will continue to highlight the values, progress, and spirit of the airport.”

The appointment underscores PJIAE’s commitment to transparency, open dialogue, and community engagement. “We will continue our outreach efforts to ensure that our community feels informed, included, and connected to the growth and developments at PJIAE,” the statement continued.

In accepting her new position, Ms. Schoutens expressed her gratitude and excitement for the opportunity to continue serving the organization and the public.

As Corporate Communications Officer, Ms. Schoutens will serve as PJIAE’s official representative for public and community events.
