The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) is issuing a clear warning to students, parents, and guardians ahead of the upcoming Halloween weekend regarding the throwing of eggs at fellow students, vehicles, homes, and other private property.

In the days leading up to Halloween, some students bring eggs to school or purchase them at nearby shops to engage in these activities. Such behavior can cause injuries, damage property, and create dangerous situations for road users.

KPSM emphasizes that these actions are punishable and will be taken seriously. Officers will take appropriate action against those involved.

Parents and guardians are urged to speak with their children about the consequences of these actions, monitor what they take to school, and discourage their involvement in egg throwing.

Students are reminded to respect their fellow students, other members of the community, and people’s property. Schools and shop owners are also encouraged to remain alert and help discourage this behavior.
