A major fire broke out Sunday afternoon, July 19, in Sandy Ground, requiring a lengthy intervention by firefighters. No one was injured, but the blaze mobilized significant resources due to the risks associated with the materials present at the site.
Emergency services were called at 16:41 p.m. for a brush fire with a risk of spreading to vehicles and homes, to 69 Sandy Ground StreetUpon arrival, firefighters found a vehicle fire in a private garage of approximately 80m² had spread to a storage area for boats and various materials, on an area of approximately 250m².
