The dissolution of the National Assembly was announced by the President of the Republic on Sunday June 9, 2024. Legislative elections are organized at the national level to elect the 577 new deputies of the Republic. The inhabitants of Saint-Martin and Saint- Barthélemy will vote in advance on Saturday June 29 and July 6 to elect a single deputy responsible for representing the two overseas communities.
\nThere are eight candidates seeking the mandate of deputy: Frantz Gumbs (Substitute Melissa Lake), Various center, Philippe Philidor (Substitute Daniel Gibbs), Various right, Alexandra Questel (Substitute Gilbert Rousseau), Various right, Ricardo Bethel (Substitute Sabrina Charville ), Miscellaneous, Diane Félix (Substitute Claudine Brooks), Miscellaneous, Clément Chapdelaine (Substitute Charly Bertin), Reconquête, Hervé Meunier (Substitute Jean-Baptiste Monin), Miscellaneous, Lila Krimi (Substitute Guerna Castor) Miscellaneous.
\n The 19 polling stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m. without interruption. Remember to bring your voter card (the number of your polling station is mentioned inside your card) and an identity document. For people who have not received their voter card, you will still be able to vote in your usual polling station, provided you present proof of identity. _AF
