Philipsburg, Sint Maarten — Starting Tuesday, the 17th of November 2015, through Saturday, the 21st of November, the library will be hosting various events around its Baby and Toddler program. Entry to the events will be free of charge. All parents of toddlers and babies are invited to come with their children to the fun-packed activities, especially for the little ones and their parents.

The week of events will be officially opened with “Clowning” by Mo d Joker and a reading workshop by Patti Maier. Clowning and the reading workshop will take place between 5:30 – 7:00 on Tuesday, November 17th. Other activities that will take place throughout the week include a puppet show on Wednesday at 6 pm by students of the University of St Martin and a special Rhyme Time sing along activity on Thursday, November 19th, at 11 am with Zahira Marmar. This fun-filled week will come to a close on Saturday the 21st of November, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, with a grand finale, the “Baby & Toddlers Fun Day”. The Fun Day will be packed with enjoyment and games, and will include musical entertainment by DJ Daniel. The activities on the Fun Day will include a Mascot mini parade, playing in the bouncy castle, story time, a coloring contest and face painting. Food and drinks will be on sale.

During the week of events, all babies and toddlers between the ages of 0 to 3 who become new members of the Philipsburg Jubilee Library receive a special goodie bag from the sponsor Guardian Group Insurances. Between November 17th to November 21st, all parents of toddlers can also get a new library card for free. Only a deposit of 25 guilders will be required.
