GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that there will be road work activities taking place at the Alexis Arnell Boulevard on Wednesday, November 25.  This area is also known as Link 1 phase 2.

Milling and recapping road works will take place on Wednesday at 4.00pm. Phase 2, from Cole Bay round-a-bout towards Belair, will be closed for all traffic coming from Cole Bay round-a-bout towards Belair.

At this point motorized traffic will be able to drive in the direction of the Belair round-a-bout towards the Cole Bay Hill round-a-bout.

The works will be carried out in collaboration with NV GEBE.  Various 9HT cables will be replaced.

During the milling of the asphalt and also during the recapping, motorized traffic may be temporarily blocked off completely for safety.

Motorists are advised to pay keen attention and abide to the traffic signs that will be in place.  Motorists should also drive with caution in connection with road crews who will be working in the area.  Their safety comes first.

Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause.
